All of our products are made by us locally in Kirkland, WA. We design many of our items and also commission various artists and creators from around the world to create amazing products. We do not "gatekeep" 3D printing and will always encourage others make this hobby/business their own.

As a small business, we have the freedom to follow our own ethics and beliefs when creating our products. Instead of hiding behind obscurity, we want to be upfront about some of the real concerns in our industry.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (gAI):

We understand that gAI art is a concern for our customers, so we will always be transparent when we disclose where our art comes from. We cannot verify if our artists use gAI, but we also cannot verify if they are tracing, claiming other artists' artwork as their own, or using tools developed with gAI. Although we expect our artists to disclose when any of these controversial "techniques" are used, we cannot police these practices, especially as the techniques and technologies improve. Furthermore, the transforming of these art pieces into 3D prints also significantly alters their appearance, simplifying certain details and trading accuracy for artistic expression.

Therefore, we do not consider ourselves as "artists" in the traditional sense and align more closely with resellers and makers. We will not take "artist alley" spots when applicable and when we vend at shows, we read exhibitor contracts carefully to ensure we do not infringe on their attendees' interests and expectations. Similar to ourselves, resellers do not have the ability to determine if their products were made with gAI or produced in factories with fair labor practices. Venues and showrunners seem to align with this understanding by explicitly prohibiting art resale, gAI art, and tracing for their events and we respect those requirements. We believe this categorization balances our concerns for the artistic space with our desire to share our unique artistic expression with our customers.
